[pct-l] how cold will it get?

Not sure what a precip is?

You are right about the snow - you probably will be hot as you hike through
it in the Sierras. It is typically the mornings and nights when it is cold -
and if you get rain and clouds.

For most of the trail I got by in just Frogg Toggs rain/wind tops and
bottoms, 100 weight mircrofleece top, polypropylene T shirt, shorts, light
weight gloves with wind mitts, and fleece hat. In Washington, I added a long
sleeve polypropylene top and bottoms. There were several freezing nights and
cold, rainy days there. Some in Oregon too.

If it gets too bad, you can always put up your shelter and crawl into your
sleeping bag - not much mileage that way, though.
