Great idea, unfortunately, it is already being done. A water cache is being
supplied and maintained from mid April to mid May or later about midway
between Scissor's Crossing and Barrel Springs on the San Felipe Hills by Charlie
Jones and several members of the San Diego chapter of the Sierra Club. If you
would like to help them out contact Charlie at; charliejones@aol.com. They hike
the gallon jugs of water in from the ranch on the east side of the hills.
