Gas line antifreeze is mostly methanol - you can get sick just from skin
contact. Handle with care. Denatured alcohol is better, which is ethanol
mixed with a small amount of methanol to render it non-drinkable.

The ideal fuel for an alcohol stove is 200 proof grain alcohol
(Everclear, etc.). Then you can get drunk while you wait 10 minutes for
your water to boil ;-)

Seriously - I am a fan of alcohol stoves and used one on my last PCT
trip. Mostly powered by cheap, plentiful denatured alcohol.
