I would like to heartily recommend the book 98.6: The art of keeping Your
Ass Alive, by Cody Lundin. a marvelously funny, well-written book that
anyone traveling along the PCT could benefit from. Cody Lundin is a survival
expert as well as an expert in aboriginal culture. And....I am not related to him,
nor do I recieve a stipend...etc. the usual disclaimers. Check him out at
