[pct-l] MT Whitney PCT - JMT route

You are correct. The PCT and JMT split at Reds Meadow (Devils Postpile) and
rejoin at Thousand Island Lake. I've done both. I prefer the JMT section
although you have a steep climb from the Devils Postpile. The PCT section is
a long traverse looking over towards the JMT route. You can't do both unless
you do one part twice (or do separate hikes in different years).

to go back and traverse in order to have thru-hiked the JMT?
