[pct-l] Min/Max thermometer for the trail?

I have the REI key ring thermometer, but it only shows the current temp.
(no min/max)

I also have the casio "pathfinder" watch, which has altimeter and temp,
but no way of recording min/max temps.

I'm sure the Suunto wristwatch has all of this and more, but I don't
want to spend the $300+ on one!

There are many wrist watches that have temperature and the ability to
record some temperatures (highs/lows/etc). The only problem with the
thermometer on your wrist is that it will usually register a few
degrees higher on your wrist, especially if under a shirt or jacket
sleeve.

REI sells a little key ring thermometer that you can attach to a
zipper on your pack or jacket.

I am looking for an affordable wrist watch that combines:
1. time
2. temp
3. compass
4. altimiter

I figure that I will save alot of weight by carrying one watch with 4
features instead of 4 separate items.

Most watches that have all these features are around $200. The Timex
Helix seems to be a little cheeper, so I have been looking for a
store that has one in my area.

peace,
dude
