The USGS offers 1:250,000 scale topographic maps of 1) Sth Calif. 2) Nth 
Calif. 3) Oregon and 4) Washington.  Pieced together these will cover a typical 8 
foot wall from floor to ceiling. You can order these from any USGS topo map 
supplier.  In Sth Calif. Allied Map Services 714-532-4337 carries a complete 
supply of all USGS maps.
