Just got back from two days on the trail on the west side of Mt Adams.  Saw 
possibly the last two thru hikers at Riley Creek.  The one kids name was 
Friendly Wood Knom and his companion.  They looked tired.  They said they wanted to 
be the last two to Canada, I hope they make it.  

The weather was great this Sunday/Monday on the trail.  Saw a few other 
single hikers out.  One said he was a thru hiker from 1977. His name was Tim.  He 
said he had missed this section in the past and that he found it very worth his 
time this weekend.
