[pct-l] warmer

I tried a liner once and got tangled up so bad I thought I'd have to pee just
for the possibility I'd be able to loosen something up so I'd be able to get
out of my bag. As far as warmth goes, I'm now leaning toward the thermarest
CampRest, something I carried in my pre-Ray days. If you want comfort, take
the Caddy. Of course, that's an age thing. I read with interest the comments
about the 3/4 thermarest lite. I agree. It sucks. I've had two of them on
non-threatening PCT section hikes and by daybreak they're nothing but fold-up
rubber products, no more comfort than a natural stealth site, no more water
protection than a mylar ground cover. Leave the 3/4 at home and save the space
in your pack. So next year in No. Yosemite I'll be out there with my G4 pack
and a CampRest, both about the same size.
