[pct-l] yikes

In 2000 we finished in mid-October, I had planned on finishing Oct 1(five month plan) but was about 2 weeks behind schedule. Some others even finished after we did. We had some rainy days, but no snow in Washington.
(we did have have lots of snow around Crater Lake in early Sept, but waited it out off trail)

Your starting date may be as problematical as your ending date.
People got dumped on hard this spring in SoCal. The difficulties
they had, though, were exacerbated by not having much cold/bad
weather gear. If you go in prepared, life should be pretty good.

There are two
Canadians (Alister and Gail) who are on the 6 month schedule. I
believe that they are still hiking, but I last saw them in Tahoe.
