[pct-l] yikes



Your starting date may be as problematical as your ending date.  
People got dumped on hard this spring in SoCal.  The difficulties 
they had, though, were exacerbated by not having much cold/bad 
weather gear.  If you go in prepared, life should be pretty good.

There are two 
Canadians (Alister and Gail) who are on the 6 month schedule.  I 
believe that they are still hiking, but I last saw them in Tahoe.
