I carry a light sleeping bag, plus 30 degrees. I make a bag liner of light 
polyester which is cut wide and extends up over my shoulders. The advantages, 
plus 10 degrees added temperature when needed, sleep outside the sleep bag in 
the summer, keeps the interior of the bag clean, wash it periodically. It dries 
very fast.
