Today, according to Crater Lake web site the snow is only six inches deep and melting fast. It would be gone by the time you get there. Go for it and enjoy.

I was also told by the FS in Prospect that the two man trail maintenance crew was now starting to clear the windfalls on the trail from Fish Lake to Crater Lake Nat'l Park.
