I picked up a friends package at Shelter Cove in the first of October three years ago.  The hiking seaon was almost over and they still had over 60 packages to deal with.  It does cost the resort owners to store (and dispose of) packages.  The amount of space the packages took up certainly reduced storage and inventory space.  But since it is a relatively free market enterprise, everyone is entitled to do busines with whomever they choose.



but going to town doesnt cost them becuse they would do so any ways they 
would do it to pick up there own mail. They are just taking advatige of 
hiker
