Hey, the Trinity Alps in northern California are supposed to be our secret,
Monte!  Beautiful country, uncrowded, and the only place I've ever seen a
mountain lion in the wild.  A lot of PCT thruhikers are just anxious to get
out of California by the time they get to this part of the trail, especially
when they find the path taking them south instead of north.  Take the time to
enjoy!
