[pct-l] light tents - stephenson is pricey, anyone used golite

I have the Wanderlust Nomad Lite. This is a one person tent. IMHO it will
not hold up in any serious wind. The two person tent will be, IMHO, worse.
That being said there is rarely any serious wind along the PCT. What will
happen, however, is that the Wanderlust and VIRTUALLY ANY TENT USING HIKING
POLES as primary support will flap like mad in even a moderate wind and make
a terribly irritating racket.

I believe that you should check out Carol Wellman [brawnie] tent designs.
They are proposing a 22 ounce tent for two for less than $300. The
difference between 22 ounces and 50 ounces [3#2oz] is worth the flapping
IMHO but the difference between the golite and stephenson price is not.
