The big melt is underway. This means less snow but tougher river crossings.
The sierra is probably passable with difficulty this week but will be much
easier in two weeks.

Below Tuolumne average snow is expected to hit zero on 6/3 [tomorrow]. Last
year the same measurement was made on 5/30
Above Tuloumne average snow is expected to hit zero on 6/7. Last year it hit
zero on 5/24

Snow melt.
River flows will abate over the next two weeks to less than a third of
current
