[pct-l] Kennedy Meadows question

Last year, they had us tape 2 dollars to each box that we wanted to send
on and the postal carrier picked them up.   They were supposed to arrive
at their destination with postage due but for some reason the 2 dollars
covered the postage.

There is NO post office in KM, and the only outbound mailbox has a
letter 
sized slot, so no way to fit a box through it.

However, in past years, the folks in the store could be talked into
mailing 
packages on their runs into InyoKern, sometimes for a small fee.....
