Hey Tom, go through Sumas and just say you are going hiking for the week . ( Less info is better as it will just confuse them ) Follow signs east to Manning Park lodge and eat like a pig!!!! Then drive east a mile or so and begin your trip. ( You lucky dog!!!) Work is death to a Thru-hiker!!!! Good luck and hike like the wind!!!
