[pct-l] First hike in Oregon

Hi,

I'm not sure what the snow level is right now on Mt. Hood, so some of the 
best hikes up there might not be do-able.  All the trails w/in an hour of 
Portland see a lot of folks on the weekends, but if you don't mind the 
crowds, there's:

Eagle Creek (in the Gorge - amazing waterfalls and Oregon greenery)

Saddle Mountain (in the Coast Range - on a sunny day you can see the coast 
and the Columbia from the top)

Lava Canyon (at Mt. St. Helens - the name says it all)

It's HOT in Portland right now - supposed to get to 90 today.
