Coyote Canyon Road (Anza)
turns to dirt from Terwilliger Valley Rd.
and is passable to within about 1 1/2
miles of the trail for passenger cars.

Hikers crossing or using Coyote Canyon Rd.
might enjoy visualizing the "Clunker Classic"
in which hundreds of old beach cruisers, schwinns,
etc., etc. used to (before it got out of hand) descend
into Anza Borrego State Park along Coyote Canyon Rd.
on Superbowl Saturday.
