Yea, about 15 miles from RT 44 there's Road 22 that crosses the trail. The
store had been stashing water at this crossing in '99, but it appears they
didn't do so last year, but YOU probably could. The next water (unless you
have a filter for a cow pond) is about 13 miles.
Anyway, if you go left on the road and walk a few paces, there's a clearing
across from an unused corral which makes a decent camping spot, with
excellent views. If you get lucky the hang gliders will be doing their
thing. It was real cool watching them catch the drafts.
