[pct-l] Park regulations

On the AT, thru hikers are often heard to complain about park regulations in 
the Smokies and in the Shennandoahs, and are glad to leave.  Is this true of 
national parks on the PCT as well?  What are the main regulations that affect 
the PCT hiker--staying on the PCT, proper permits, approved food containers, 
staying in designated camping areas, etc.?
