[pct-l] radio

A friend of mine showed me a great little Radio today. I forget the Brandname, but he found it at Target for $18. its about the size of two cigarette packs, is solar powered with rechargeable battery, or AAA Batteries as back up, and is fairly lightwieght, has an antenna(important in the back country I have found), gets AM/FM and some shortwave or something(my buddy was telling me about some weather frequency or something).

For you intolerant people, I must warn: It does NOT come with headphones. I didn't look to see if it had a jack, as I love walking around the wilderness looking for people to annoy with my radio tunred up full blast. With those Ultra-Powerful AAA batteries, I think it pumps out like 1500 watts and 200 decibels. I figure that I can disturb people for miles while atop Whitney. Since it is solar powered, I will use the batteries at night during my all-night parties after hiking 20-30 miles. Then in the day I will switch to Solar so that I can continue to disturb people insessantly. ;-)

peace,
Dude
