You can use them in place of Esbit. However, it will take more of them to
equal the same heat output. Even then they are still cheaper than Esbit.

Personally, I prefer the Stansport Fuel tabs. They are cheaper than Esbit
and burn just as long. They don't have the same odor problems as Esbit and
certainly less than hexamine.

They are not available on the Internet. At least not that I've been able to
find. They are available in a number of the large discount stores like GI
Joe, in the camping goods section.
