I talked to her from Echo Lake. She was scared S*itlessby a bear who stalked
her [had food in her tent] all night. She called me to get a bear canister
but later quit the trail and returned my crampons. I have not heard since.

Hey guys,

Does anyone remember Rebecca Williams from 1999? While browsing the hiker
pages
at the PCT site, I was reminded of her thru-hike in 1999 but her Web site 
seems to have
been abandoned and the last message about her on this list was in June of 
1999. Does
anyone know if she ever made it to Manning?
