Re: [pct-l] Giardia

Me too!  I just can't seem to believe that any of the water sources today are 
any worse than what I drank out of in the '70's.  Afterall, there are a lot 
more raptors flying around now than DDT allowed back then.  Hmmm, maybe the 
DDT killed all of the Giardia and phasing out the DDT caused the resurgence 
or emergence of the nasty critter!  

I drink from the best sources and when I can't, I filter with my bandana, 
boil and nuke with iodine.
