FW: [pct-l] canadian border crossing

The PCT hiker in front of us had his permit checked by a Canadian park
ranger after he crossed the border and before he got to Manning Park Lodge.
On the other hand no one asked to see our papers anywhere in Canada. (We
stayed at Manning Park, then drove out of Canada in a private vehicle.)
