[pct-l] Rights, Freedoms, Codes and Backpacking

I any discussion about freedoms, etc., we should take a moment to thank the
men and women in military uniform who are on the front lines to protect those
rights.
Yes, lawyers, advocates, and concerned citizens all contriubte too. But it
is the commitment and courage of our fellow citizens in uniform that allows
everything else to exist. In America we too often take for granted our
freedoms, because we do NOT have the policitical and destructive history like
other countries.
I would think in a lot of other places backpacking/hiking would certainly not
be allowed or at least heavily restricted. This list would not even exist. I
think most everyone on this list realizes all these things and that's great!
