RE: [pct-l] Food logistics: big bags or little bags

I took the somewhat lazy way out: I didn't want to have to package endless
number of individual portions. I started doing that and just gave up. Took
too much time, too many bags, etc. So I just measured out the number of days
worth needed of breakfast, snack, dehydrated veggies, soy protein, and other
bulk items into a single bag (of each type). I always had a small bag to put
daily snacks into. I then added the bulk to any prepackaged commercial
meals. Easy to measure out what I needed on the trail. Worked for me. Only
caution: bags break with constant use. So, I double bagged everything.
