[pct-l] Lone Pine resupply

  I used Lone as a resupply in the old days with no problem getting a ride 
back or forth. The bummer is packing back up through Whitney Portal with a 
ton of food to last awhile. (  you need to climb up to a saddle at 13,700 
,then drop down to crabtree meadows ) Of course Whitney is an easy side trip 
with this route. I had to ferry my load to two trips up to the high saddle. 
Whitney Portal seems like elev. 8,300??? or close to it. Good luck
