[pct-l] Trail Angel on the Trail or The Trail Will Provide

Hikers,

A big thank you to Jeff who was hiking the High Sierra Trail and stopped to put velcro on my trail runners so

my Dirty Girl Gaiters would seal.  He looked down and saw that my gaiters weren't connected to my shoes and 

mentioned that to me.  I told him in my haste I hadn't even put the velcro on.  He said he had extra and would put 

it on and I wouldn't even have to remove my shoes..  All this to an in perfect stranger!

We talked about where we were headed (I was going over the Kaheah Gap, he was heading for Whitney Portal 

via Mt. Whitney) cutting my trip short because of not feeling well (lack of sleep) and he came up with a Melatonin 

tablet.  If you want to sleep better on the trail or where ever and don't want to use drugs this is it!

Anyway Jeff I own you a beer at least and would pick up your bar bill anytime.  You are the type of person 

who I would like to share a campfire with.  That's is, if we could have one with all the restrictions.
