Grampa Kilt, tell me about this expensive bargain stuff. Maybe I'm doing this personal trail angel/trail support thing all wrong....

The clock sure seems to tick faster on us geezers. The Billy Goats amongst
us are the elite and the exception...gotta love those genetics! Yet, as
others have stated, that shouldn't mean giving up. On the other hand, it
does mean, perhaps more than for those younger with reserve 'in the tank',
that it may take more than what you have left within you to make the
journey. I, for one, just can't attempt the PCT alone anymore. How
grateful I am that my long suffering soon-to-be-retired wife is promising to
be my personal trail angel NOBO in 2014. (The bargaining was fairly easy,
but expensive J. )
