One "good" feature about Oregon is the relative lack of easily  
accessible laundry facilities. So if you do get or make treated  
clothing, it may actually last quite well. No matter what you use,  
make sure to tuck in your shirt. I bent over to pack my tent and a  
cloud of mosquitoes flew up my shirt and instantly bit me all over my  
chest. And you still may need your DEET to make your daily nature  
contribution. I would usually apply DEET to my bottom before emerging  
from my tent so that I'd be all ready when the time came (which was  
usually only a few minutes later.)
