Just a little info from a recent pass traveller:

The snow on the side of the highway is up and over my head (I am 6 feet tall)!

Heavenly Ski Resort (although on the south end of the lake) states on its site that it has received 200 inches of snow this season.

The small lake at the Nyack exit on Emigrant Gap wasn’t frozen 10 days ago; now it has enough snow on it to allow snowmobiles to run around.

Little to no snow was on Donner Pass 10 days ago...

Should be a fun winter!
