[pct-l] Resupply points

I resupplied mostly from towns and small stores along the
way--including obscure gas stations with little more than pop tarts
and top ramen. You can do this if you are not a picky eater. The bad
part about re-supplying along the way is having to spend time on your
zero day shopping and re-packaging food instead of relaxing. As a
result of this fact, I am going to start sending  most of my food
(except for lunch and snack stuff--candy bars, gorp made from stuff
like cornnuts and fritos, nuts, raisins) to POs along the way. Friends
will send the boxes as I progress along on my next hike on the Grand
Enchantment Trail this spring.

That said--here is some info from people who have re-supplied along
the PCT--http://www.purebound.com/PCT/resupply.htm (from 2006),
http://friends.backcountry.net/m_factor/pctresupply.html (2003 with
info from Weathercarrot 2001),
http://asthecrowflies.org/resupply-schedule-for-my-pct-pacific-crest-trailhike
(2007)

As always, stores close (particularly in recent years) so all info
should be checked right before you use the info.
