I sent all my food.  There were about 25 boxes.  The nice thing about sending is you know what your getting and I felt it was cheaper.  You will find in the small Towns that the prices are higher and the selections are slim.  I liked having chicken packers with my knorr rice and noodle sides.  On the trail all you will find is albacore or Tina which worked well also. 

I still went to grocery stores for extra drink packers and such.  

If and when I thru hike again I will do the same and send my resupply.
