--correction of my post
Concerning the effect of tart cherry, there are 4 papers in PubMed
filtered by "Humans" and "Randomized Controlled Trial". Two researches
confirmed the effect of reducing muscle pain. Considering with the
publication bias ( the positive results are published more frequently
than the negative results ), it is too early to conclude that the tart
cherry juice reduces muscle pain.
