There is a daily bus from S Tahoe to Reno. Hitch down to S. Tahoe.  At the
bottom of the hill you can catch the city bus to the North end Casinos and
the bus to Reno is caught there.  The bus drops you off at the Reno Airport.
 I met my wife at the airport in early July. I was able to arrange it that
the bus got in about an hour before her flight.  On the way back it was just
the opposite.  I was able to arrange this all about a week ahead of time and
it worked out great.
