what brand is your sleeping bag?

my first mountain hardwear phantom did that, and when i mentioned it to MHW,
they replaced it immediately and for free. the second one has not done this.

... is it one of those non-ballistic 7 denier nylons? it could be not a hole
but the down working it's way out between the threads.

Subject: [pct-l] Down sleeping bag

So this may be a stupid question, but it's the first time I've owned a nice down
sleeping bag. So after a a few years of very occasional use I have noticed that
its losing more and more feathers (not a lot but my pants are sparkled white
with them in the morning and some around the tent on our last overnighter). I
checked for holes but couldn't find one though I did see that some were
beginning to poke through the nylon. I'm totally use to being covered since by
regular nightly blanket is down but I'm worried that I might be losing my degree
rating as well. Its rated as 25+ F and I was planning on using it our hike and
wearing cloths on cold days (I sleep fairly warm).

So my main question is when your down sleeping bag starts losing feathers what
do you do or conclude? Is it time to spend that money on that helium I've been
eyeing?Ashley
