Hi Ashley,

I've got a down bag from the 60'a (an old frostline kit and with no loft
left, but I keep it for sentimental reasons, and kid parties, help it's the
CHD!) and several from the late 70's that are still usable, and none of them
loose feathers, other than an occasional one that pokes through the nylon.
 I'm wondering if the nylon is just not woven tight enough?  Maybe someone
else has found this to be a problem, but it sounds unusual to me, especially
if it's only a few years old.
