I only pop the ones that seem to be screaming out to me, "Pop me! Pop  
me!" Otherwise I just leave them alone. I will pierce them with my  
knife (slipped in sideways, not stabbed in) or even snip a small hole  
with the little scissors. Sometimes you have to pierce the blister  
more than once, which is why the needle method is so handy since you  
don't have to keep piercing it. Sterilize your knife before you use it.
