Ned,

if you mind be probing your expertise...
... how d othey determine the rankings? is grade 'B' adequate for self arrest
accd. to them...? ...obviously i'm not climbing frozen waterfalls; but it does
feel comforting if the professionals say "yup, this'll do"

... what does it take to become grade A or AA? not sure how the grading system
works.

thanks for your time,

~Paul

Upon closer examination, the Camp Corsa is UIAA and CE certified as "B" or
strong enough for basic mountaineering uses. So now the question is "how long
for me?" and the answer comes from how tall you are, how much anchor penetration
do you want out of the shaft, and how long the shaft needs to be to accomplish a
safe and efficient self-arrest position across the chest?
