Now that I think of it, last month when we did a section of the trail  
southbound I found the Wilderness Press guide book to be very  
difficult to follow. Some people, such as myself, actually like a  
verbose description of the trail and prefer it to something more  
terse. But the guide book is nearly impossible to follow backwards.  
So you could re-write the book with a southbound perspective. This  
might actually help more people choose to go south and maybe spread  
out the herd a little bit.
