[pct-l] Marine helicopter near PCT in Section A

This is not official info, but my understanding is the rangers are in
close contact with other authorities, and (second hand info) the Trail
is closed at the moment from Boulder Oaks (I-8) to Dale's Kitchen up
on top (spanning the Fred Canyon/Kitchen Creek Road/Cibbets flat
area).  There's a race on that section scheduled for Saturday that is
in jeopardy at the moment, but the rangers are hopeful they'll be able
to open it up by then.  As for the next few days, thru hikers may have
to wait or more likely hitch/get shuttled around the area?  I had
heard the crash was right on Fred Canyon road where the Trail crosses
it, but from the video clips that doesn't quite seem correct, too many
trees.  Sad situation, my sympathies to the loved ones of those who
died.
