[pct-l] getting water from the aquaduct

I am an avid reader of true crime stories (these are true stories about real people) and upon reading about some of the water sources on the PCT...I just thought I should mention something I read alot about concerning the aquaduct water. This might freak some of u out but I thought u should know....The aquaduct is drained yearly I believe and when they drain it they find all kinds of nasty things in the bottom of it...stolen cars, trash, gas cans, dead people...yeh dead people....or parts of dead people. I don't know, I'm thinking if u get water from there one might consider this factor and be sure to use a filter AND use the aquamira...maybe even twice....there is some scary stuff in that water! I know I'll be thinking about it when I am having to use it...lol
