[pct-l] Sierra Snow Levels

So...I'm waiting here in KM for a shipment of warmth additions (bivy,
added layer) as it seems way below average Sierra temps are likely for
several more days, along with possible rain/snow.  But the following
charts seem to imply that notwithstanding the recent snowfall, there's
not much of that on the ground at present:

Above implies that there's no more on the ground than last year at
this time.  Any quantifiable reason to doubt the charts ?
