[pct-l] Message re: Fireman, AT06, PCT08

Just got this message on the PCT2008 Yahoo group list and thought others 
monitoring the list might have an interest.

I remember meeting up with Fireman at a number of stops and always 
enjoyed his company. Here is the message posted by his father, John, 
from Fireman's email address: eyern at yahoo.com:

"You are receiving this message because your email address was found in 
Ed’s Yahoo email account.

Ed traveled to New Zealand right after Christmas for several months of 
hiking. He disappeared at the end of February while hiking in Nelson 
Lakes National Park in the South Island of New Zealand, and hasn’t been 
heard from since 20 February. After an extensive search effort the New 
Zealand police have notified the coroner’s office that they believe he 
is dead.
