I bought a L - Solo a few months ago and have only used it in the field once.  I'm still learning how to rig it to get more air circulation, and therefore to reduce condensation.  So far I love the ease of set up and pack up, the light weight, the small volume, and the roominess.  I know that lots of thru's swear by H. Shires tarptents.  Good luck.

Subject: [pct-l] Tents

hello everybody , total newbie here and to mail lists in general
so forgive me if i'm screwing this up ..

ok here it goes , I hiked the AT in 2007 with a MSR Hubba
and now I'm trying to go ultra light for the most part on the PCT next year.

I've been looking at a few tents.
I was wondering if anyone was familiar with these tents?
...maybe you could give me some feed back

Six moon designs: Gatewood Cape , Lunar solo e ,

Tarp tent : Contrail

Gossemer gear : the one

also maybe some feed back on tarps

I've been known to camp in high places and in the wind .. cuz im dumb like
that
Thanks
