[pct-l] Tents

Highlife,

I used the Contrail on the AT and the CDT and loved it. I found that is was
often necessary to use a second treckking pole to help hold up the foot box
when it rained or snowed. The only real down side I ever found was that is
that it can be difficult to pack in light weight pack. It seem like every
pack is just a little narrower than the poles that come with the Contrail.
I just started to strap mine to the top of my ULA pack. With all that said,
I have also decided to swith to a bivy/tarp combo. It not only weighs less,
but the versitility is pretty awsome. Happy trails,
